Hey there,
I’m Isabel Bagsik, born in Pasay City, Philippines and by blood am half Bicolana, but raised in the Bay Area, California. I’m a designer, multidisciplinary creative, and community gatherer. As far back as I can remember, I’ve always needed to keep my hands busy to create something, anything. Whether it was a crayon to fill up my coloring books, a sewing needle for a summer DIY project, or a camera for a photoshoot, I was always drawn to produce creative content. It wasn’t until my last year in high school, with the help of my AP Studio Art teacher, did I realize that a creative career was possible and inevitable as I reflected on how I engaged with creating all my life. From event organizing with other creatives I admire, I came to realize the potential of great design and collaboration, and how it can influence people’s behaviors and make a social impact on the world.
